CONTRIBUTE TO THE JOURNAL

Experience worth sharing?
We’re listening.

Bring a useful idea, a clear argument and something you have learned from doing the work. The journal is for readers making practical marketing decisions.

The stories we want

We welcome pitches about LinkedIn content strategy, referral measurement, backlink reporting, editorial workflows and campaign planning. A specific lesson is stronger than a broad overview of “everything about SEO”.

01

Firsthand lessons

Explain what you tried, what changed and the limits of your evidence.

02

Useful processes

Share a checklist or workflow a reader can actually use.

03

Clear explanations

Make a confusing marketing topic easier to understand without overselling it.

Editorial guidelines

  • Original work, with a point of view

Submit work you have the right to publish. Avoid recycled articles, generic filler and unsupported claims. You are responsible for accuracy, sources and the final voice.

  • Usually 900–1,500 words

Use only the space the idea needs. A pitch should include a working headline, a short outline and the reader’s practical takeaway.

  • Sources readers can inspect

Link to primary documentation or evidence for factual claims. Explain methodology and dates when sharing results. Remove confidential client details unless you have permission.

  • Relevant links, editorially reviewed

Use citations to help the reader. Promotional links, exact-match anchor demands and guaranteed dofollow placements are not accepted as editorial conditions.

  • Disclose commercial relationships

Tell us about sponsorships, affiliations and conflicts of interest. Any sponsored material must be clearly disclosed and its links appropriately qualified.

How to pitch

Prepare a working title, 3–5 outline points, your experience with the subject and one or two writing samples. A pitch is not an acceptance. Publication, editing and final links remain subject to editorial review. Contributor submissions are separate from monthly campaign packages.
